Waterside hypotheses of human evolution assert that selection from wading, swimming and diving and procurement of food from aquatic habitats have significantly affected the evolution of the lineage leading to Homo sapiens as distinct from that leading to Pan. (p118)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Elaine, from a long time skeptic who nonetheless respects your amazing writing career and remains willing to be convinced. Any chance of another book?

Have you ever tried to submit a paper to a peer reviewed journal devoted to human evolution?

Several dozens of scientists inspired by Elaine Morgan's writings have published peer-reviewed papers, edited academic books, wrote master/PhD thesis to study the influence of water on human evolution.
If you're skeptic, why you don't submitted a peer-reviewed paper to debunk it?
