For the hominins try

Matthew Cartmill, Fred H. Smith (2009) The human lineage Hoboken, N.J. : Wiley-Blackwell

For the Miocene apes check

Begun, David R; Ward, Carol V; Rose, Michael D (eds) (1997) Function, Phylogeny and Fossils: Miocene
Hominoid Evolution and Adaptations. New York : Advances in Primatology, Plenum Press

To delve into the periodical literature for non hominis go to

http://primatelit.library.wisc.edu/

They may cover some of the hominins.

I'm not aware of a good phys anth bibliographic database but Pubmed at

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/

may be worth a try.

Hope this helps
